Orchard Plateau Wolf Repair is a small independent service company. This site covers Wolf cooking equipment in Sammamish: the four kitchen lines and the gas grill outside.

What we will not do: guess at a board because it is the easiest part to sell, quote a repair that costs more than the appliance is worth without saying so, or leave before the unit has been run back up and the readings shown to you.

• In the kitchen

  Wolf ranges, all-gas and dual-fuel, wall ovens, gas and electric cooktops, and the hoods above them.

• On the patio

  Wolf outdoor gas grills, built in or on a cart: the igniters, the burners, and the gas path from the grill's own shut-off valve inward.

• Where it hands over

  The house gas line up to an appliance's shut-off valve belongs to a gas fitter; the duct, the roof cap and any makeup-air supply above a hood belong to a contractor. When the fault sits there, you are told so plainly.

What drives the number

Two things, and the badge on the door is neither of them. The first is the part: an igniter or a spark module sits in a different order of money from a control board or a touch panel. The second is access — a wall oven that has to come out of a cabinet run costs time a freestanding range never does.

So the visit costs $89, and the repair figure is agreed before any work starts; the $89 is taken off once you approve it. The price bands behind those figures are printed on the range, oven and cooktop pages. No band covers hood or outdoor grill work, so those are quoted once the fault is found.

Holds a licence, a bond and insurance. The licence number goes to any customer who asks for it.
